Transfer and compression pressing techniques
Thermoset or thermosetting polymers – also called duromers, are a type of polymer that chemically hardens when heated. In addition, a thermoset does not melt or burn upon further heating. Thermoplastics are the opposite: they can be melted and shaped repeatedly.
By using different production methods such as compression, transfer or injection molding, InnoMould has the ability to produce parts with a very high degree of technical difficulty. Even in combination with thin and thick wall thicknesses.
Depending on the part shape, volume, production amount, ect. we can choose between these methods to provide our customers the best offer.
Some examples:
- Machine components in BMC polyester or phenolic
- Valve bodies in polyester or vinylester
